thisBLOG F.A.Q.

Why is there no use of citations and reference notations on this site?

Don't believe anything you read on this site just because it's typed out here. Everything on this site is opinion based on various news articles and/or reports. Everyone should go out, whatever your political, religious, or television network affiliation and read for themselves what is going on in the world. This is the age of information and it has never been more readily available to all.

Can I leave comments on the posts?

No. This isn't a site for exchanging ideas, but rather to present news and short commentary so that each reader will go out and find it for themselves. Whatever opinion is formed is for each person. That and people tend to flame anyone who dares to express an opposing opinion. None of that here!

Isn't this site a bit one sided?

It certainly is. This blog is for one man to express his thoughts on all things political, religious, media related, what-have-you. All blogs are pretty much done this way (unless it's a 'news blog' like say Fox News). This blog leans to the left and makes no bones about it.

Why is George W. Bush, President of the United State of America, referred to as 'El Presidente'?

Because in the last presidential election, Bush did not win the poular vote. Due to dubious actions of the governor of Florida and making key decisions, the election was not decided by the people, or even the Electoral College (until later). Instead it was decided by the Supreme Court, and thus the outcome was directed by a 5-4 vote in the Court. This vote by nine people gave the victory to Bush, installing him as President. The 'El Presidente' comes from the similarities of how dictators abuse the system to outright take over as leader. That and the fact that Bush has tried schemes to delay the 2004 elections, start a war, and put into effect more invasive policies than any previous holder of the office.
